You seem to have a comprehension problem. If, as I said, most political matters are subject to legitimate dispute, and most opinions can be intelligently questioned, then one would have to fancy Le Carre a genius, beyond the normal give and take of political discourse, to be so arrogantly dismissive of the Administration and its supporters. After all, as I tried to indicate, the actual body of knowledge that would supercede opinion in areas like politics and international affairs is slight. He must be well beyond his time! or, more likely, a blowhard......
