No excuses NEEDED by the GOP So, if the economy, world terrorism, etc., all go to hell in '04, the GOP says, "It's not my fault!" Right? And the solution you proposed was, correct your text if you wish, one-party totalitarianism ? Pretty soon, you have to have accountability for all of the many myriad of creative excuses. Now that the GOP controls all branches of gov't, I'd say the time has come. More totalitarian power? I don't think that's going to help, considering what we've gotten so far from the Bush administration.
