Ray, the Military got rid of the Afghanistan terror

facilities and Taliban in an impressive fashion overall.

Yes, thousands were killed and others ill treated and yes

it's still a mess but as achieving a clear objective

I think it was a masterpiece.

So of course the popularity of the Military rubs on

Bush, after all he is Commander in Chief.

Well, the objective changed, first it was all about

bin Laden but he hasn't been found and has sent

Americans lengthy messages.

It's about escalating violence now and nothing seems

able to reverse it. Therefore it probably was pretty much a

ruse all along.

Well Ray, I love the History of Warfare so that may

influence the way I perceive number of casualties.

U.S. technology has killed the concept of massed

armies and is generally boring war to death.
