PTIE Was up 33.62% on volume of 378,549 (about 6.5x its daily average)after it announced a licensing agreement with DRRX, to formulate certain long-acting opioid drugs.

Under the agreement, PTIE paid DRRS an undisclosed upfront fee and has exclusive worldwide rights to develop its opioid drugs with DRRS's gel- cap SABER technology. (The market for opioid drugs reportedly was more than $3 billion in 2002.)

PTIE seems to have formed a base at the $2.25 level

It needs to close above its Dec. 2 H of 3.93.(It has been on a pretty steady down-trend since its April 2002 H of 12.12)

The downtrend on its weekly chart has not been broken yet.

CRDM succumbed to profit-taking today, on volume(319,044) that was high but still less than that of yesterday's nice uptick (459,900). It retested support at $1.30 (the intra-day low was $1.27), but bounced back to close at $1.36 (down 4.9%). Bernard, do you agree that the chart still looks healthy?
