ever sit down and figure out how screwed we are with inflation:

My father had the same salary as i do now in 1976 doing the same work: OUCH! Adjusted for inflation he was making 3.2 times as much as I do!!!
A friend of mine is a dentist. his dad worked blue collar at catapillar in the 60's. Inflation adjusted made more money than he does.
we are so F#$@ed.

what I find amazing is the overwhelming support for a war with Iraq. Why?? Is everyone voting their pocket book -- thinking war cures economic ills?? I don't get it -- no proof we are in danger -- no proof any country in the ME is in danger from Iraq ... I don't get it. I think Bush needs to make evidence public BEFORE we go over there ...
