Wayne, it looks like the average ratio for the Dow is a multiple of 4, the peaks are just the extremes and to the right is where we're at now.

IMO, the important idea is that stock market profits are cyclical... that about every 35 years there is at about the same time a major top in stocks and a major bottom in gold.
