guerilla war is escalating rapidly. Proof? perhaps 300-500 dead versus the 40 or so admitted. Proof? Unsubstantiated WAGs or articles from the Daily Worker don't count.

If that was true, Gold should skyrocket right? <sg> While it is true that there is massive guerilla warfare going on in Afghanistan, I doubt the american casualty is that high, the Lion of Panjshir while alive, did his job well, his army and disciples are decent warriors. Also, Paknews.com and al jazeera would be all over this hundreds of american casualties story. Unfortunately, us casualties will probably be inversely proportional to how many innocent iraqis will get hurt. This is going to be ugly as regardless of how accurate the americans weapons are, saddam can easily bomb a few hundred of his people each night of the war until the world turns against the americans.
