It will happen.

IMO a whole lot of people(most here included) got a taste of the fast, easy money, watching their stocks jump 10-30% a day(remember bragging about five baggers?) during the internut days and they liked the taste.
Unfortunately for most they wound up riding them back down.
Once the gold bug bites main street
They'll go after them like there is no tomorrow.
"Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead."
Fundamentals(which most haven't a clue about)
Will be chucked into the wind
And the next bubble will develop.

Smart money is already in gold.
Been there for almost a year now.
Where and when it tops out
I've not a clue
But I know it will be much higher.

The irony is that mining stocks are arguably
a much riskier investment than perhaps even internut stocks.
But that doesn't matter
They will bid them up, up and up.
Just watch.
And the beautiful part is that there are by far fewer mining stocks than "new economy" stocks
And with those
There are fewer shares out than in the internet stocks.

It's already started
I remember just about six or 9 months ago
Some mining stocks were doing barley 200K shares/day
Now those same stocks are trading 1MM+ shares a day.
Wait until these stocks start trading on a daily basis more shares than there outstanding
