If only we would only be nicer to Saddam he would change his stripes and become our friend!

I know of nobody who believes that. What we do believe is that if the U.S. launches a war without moral or legal justification it will greatly diminish our standing with the remaining democracies. This will lead to the decline and fall of this country over time.

I was speaking of a partisan political battle, but you took it a step further. This is a tough world and for the most part, nobody is going to have greater concern over your welfare than yourself and if you are depending on someone else to make your life a bed of roses, then you have a major problem.
