Well, Straw was defined as a former marxist, although the brits have been the champions of building strawmen, Benny Hill and Mr Beans and the other desperate attempts. But who can expect anyone to take this kind of von Rumsfeldt talk for moons and moons c-span.org Just a fart in the desert, because neither the C-SPAN search engine nor indexing of programming is yet working, better an older link c-span.org (C-SPAN is working hard at expanding their databases and archives for the dark masses) Ilmarinen Some years ago C-SPAN actually aired the world-wide champion competition in rethorics and building strawmen, I am sure they stll continue, but have lost contact with them. (me think som who debated for a recession was not really appreciated??) More interesting, the US congress tried to start some Oxford-style debates during the Clinton years, in the actual congress, aired by C-SPAN, any idea what happened then?? Me has always assumed Whitewater and Lewinsky, but that is just little me. (anyway, that was funny, funnier than Newt, maybe one of the greatest abusers of C-SPAN??)
