Yes, it's a crime the country isn't spending more to develop energy alternatives, but deficits? Ok, the economy is in the down part of the cycle-- you would have us what? raise taxes? reduce spending? that's a great way to prolong a recession. Revenues will rebound with the economic cycle. It just takes some time. You're comments suggest that running deficits is not so bad and that there is nothing that can be done to get us out of a recession. Of course, neither is true but more importantly, I think its foolhardy to assume that eventually everything will be okay......just give it time. ted
