Yes, the aggressors in World War I and World War II had the support of their populations. Those attacked, of course, rallied to the cause thereafter. Support for the pied- noirs was widespread in France. Your reference to generic Europeans is fatuous. Finally, if you were right about Israel, Baghdad would be a distant memory by now......
