Dear Thomas: That is the arguement for a Volunteer Army. I have no problem with that. I just yearn for an America where ALL AMERICANS think of themselves as AMERICANS. Not Blacks, not whites, not rich, not poor, not young, not old. When I was born we were still in WWII and none of us had much, even after the war we were far poorer then then today. Yet, we all had great pride in that we were Americans. jdn
