12:02 ET Philly Fed little changed in January The Philly Fed index was little changed at 11.2 in January vs 11.3 in December. Though better than the 9.0 consensus, the market will view this number as somewhat disappointing following the strength in the NY state manufacturing index yesterday. Helping to offset any disappointment will be the improvement in the new orders index, which rose to 17.3 from 13.2. Given the many offsets here, no sustained market reaction is likely.
