It sounds like that gulag is on par with a typical Nike factory.

North Korea's actions are understandable. They made a deal during the Clinton administration to cool it on the nukes in exchange for aid. Neither side delivered on their promises, but there was no actionable threat, so peace has been maintained and the possibility of progress existed. Now along comes 9/11 and our brilliant pres chooses to lump NK along with Iraq and Iran into his Axis of Eeeeevillll. He declares a war on terrorism and the Axis. Then he starts picking an actual war with Saddam when there's no actionable threat. Iran is probably wetting it pants. If you're NK you've got to be thinking you're next. The US doesn't need a reason to crush you. It's enough just to be "loathsome." It needs a reason NOT to try. Only one way to do that: NUKE UP!
