(COMTEX) A: Apple Reports Q1 Loss A: Apple Reports Q1 Loss Boston, Jan 15, 2003 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Apple (AAPL) tonight reported a Q1 loss of $0.02 per share, versus the year ago profit of $0.11 per share. Excluding items, the company recorded a profit of $0.03 per share, which was a penny better than the First Call consensus. Revenue for the quarter was $1.47 billion, which was below the First Call figure of $1.49 billion, but up 7% from the year ago quarter. Stock crossing 59,762 Island shares.
