I never said amzn would quadruple overnight, it may well take 10 years (I hope not)... I am expecting more than 30% compounding growth in overall e-tail starting 2004, which I assume would mean more growth for amzn we shall see... also amzn has the balance sheet issues which if resolved favorably could cause the stock to rise on that alone.

BTW it looks like wmt quadrupled in less than 2 years in the 1982-83 period, and that is merely the stock price ignoring dividends, you know the 80s were quite a market for the nyse stocks while tech was in the dumps, stocks quadruple all the time especially retailers... it looks like anf rose 5-fold since March 2000!
