The river referred to here as 'Rio Grande' is in fact the Río Bravo del Norte Shove it up your a$$. If you claim the right to dictate our language, then you're going to have to come in here and enforce it. And better bring your army, because you're going to need it. Let's break this down into one simple question: Did American (not Republic of Texas) troops attack Mexican troops prior to the declaration of war? And as I said before, any time you want a rematch, let us know.
