Stop twisting what I said. The events of 9/11 did not have a dramatic effect on federal spending in 2002. The Homeland Security Department was not even created and not funded. There was no substantial increase in spending for domestic security.

They gave $40 billion to NYC and $20 billion to the airline industry and $5 billion to Pakistan and $30 billion to the military for Afghanistan operations and billions here and billions there.

But to Kenny and his DNC pals, that's nothing -- while a mere $50 million to bring a felon president to justice is a budget buster.
