nike1: They have a different version of paddle tennis out on the west coast (especially in warm climates like Southern California)...Here in The Midwest we play outside in the colder months -- my healthclub has courts up on the roof...you play during the day or under the lights at night...if its cold or snowing you run heaters that warm the courts and melt the snow...You play doubles with a partner...we use small rubberized balls, only get 1 serve and we even play off the fence -- you do move around alot and its A LOT of fun...for more info. on this check out this website...
