S2, I watch these young guys strapping on their gear and loading on planes to head out....it's a nightmare scene. It's not clear at all to me why we are doing it this way. As I've said before, we should only use counterinsurgent methods and take our time doing it. It does three things: 1. It almost eliminates civilian casualties 2. It uses only highly trained special ops people 3. And, most importantly, it enlists, trains and backs locals to get it done. This is their fight. If they need some help greasing that phucking madman, we, along with some other neighbors should try and help them. I went through two years of my life in the army, one in a real bad situation. I have seen what happens when you are not sure what the purpose of the fight is. Here's what happens - you are fighting for eachother and hope your guys don't get hurt...it's as basic as that. There are still a lot of guys in this country who remember that. I hope they know what the phuck they are doing. If they are not sure, they are phucking around with a lot of people's lives...... on both sides. Altair19
