The comments (of Rumsfeld) make perfect sense in light of UNSCR 1441....which hold Iraq in default of numerous UNSCR resolutions dealing the the 91 Gulf War. It is up to Iraqw to prove it is in compliance and the UNSCR overstates the case......If they fail to cooperate enough to dispel that view....it is grounds for forcing the issue...

I saw a cartoon where Saddam literally cut off his arms to try to appease Bush to no avail. It really has become that rediculous. Bush keeps saying that he has proof that Iraq has things and then never shares that proof with anyone else. That could be a bluff, but it combined with the extensive plans the administration is making to expand and exploit the oil fields indicate that it is more likely a lie, and that the oil is the real goal. This is not about truth, justice, and the american way, it is about keeping the bushes in money for another generation.
