IBM CFO sez that the company is considering raising dividends. These guys have a good read on the Street. Doesn't matter if they really do it or no, just float the idea for a 10 bil market cap rise. No shit@!

Mis:

Just starting to dig into the IBM poop and right off the bat, one finds some nifty giggles. Sold the hard drive unit right? Yes, of course, and the transaction was completed at the end of the year. But of course that division lost buckets of dough all year long so it got "segregated" pronto, so that those nasty losses could be excluded from the quarterly report. But of course the total rev number tossed out DOES include the revs from the hard drive unit (along with a tiny note to that effect).

So far, the numbers are not encouraging, but as noted earlier the detailed guidance will tell the tail.

Best, Earlie
