Yep, it dropped $50 or so after the war was announced. Things to think about - last war stopped the invasion of Kuwait, and was fully backed by UN. This time around this will start a new war, which will piss off a lot of arabs. Thus, while there may be a short uncomfortable drop in gold, once the war is announced, I think it will be short lived
