Ever read any of Redmond O'Hanlon's stuff?

A Brit made like they used to make 'em.

I'm re-reading his No Mercy, a description of his travels to Lake Tele (deepest, darkest Congo) in search of a mini-sauropod, for about the tenth time. His Borneo and Brazil books are good, too.

Yes, yes, I have a point...his description of the peaceful pygmy chimp culture as opposed to other chimp cultures, which are quite deadly, is very interesting. The secret? Sex and lots of it. Pigmy chimps start their days with communal sex from 7:30 a.m 'til about 9:30 a.m. They take care of survival afterwards with a smile on their face.

I think your idea is great. It time to stop this:

... most vicious apes in town taking the goodies and the girls

and start acting like pigmy chimps.
