The split decision is a big puzzle to me.
I honestly do not know this is good or bad.
The reason someone else gave (to hide the real reason
asking for more shares) seems plausible.
During the late 90 go-go years, split was a good way for
hi-tech company to increase the option shares pool for
new hires (and existing employees).

Not trying to be difficult, but I believe split or not,
the chart and all moving averages will be adjusted accordingly.
Whether MSFT will go below MA200 should only depend on
whether the stock kept on dropping, the split is a non-factor.
