Marcos, I don't know if you know, but on Dec. 9 Canada "agreed" to "allow" American troops to enter Canadian soil at their discretion in order to protect their National interests (edit: we would have to "invite" them...ahem). I don't think I would be reminding Lazarus Long of the Mexican thing. He might get ideas.

And I'm getting a little old for kickin American ass back across the border...;-)

Did the Republic of Texas ever ratify the action of your Congreso?

Because if not, there was never a valid agreement and you cannot claim Texas or the US ever violated a valid agreement. Because in that case, the Texans made what they considered to be a valid agreement with EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA. The fact that that agreement was later modified by el Congreso without their assent does not make the new agreement valid.
