I don't know enough to conclude anything, Carl. For all I know, what was true for WWII era mustard gas projectiles, if the story is correct (I do know that mustard was the earliest developed CW) is not true of modern SCUDs loaded with VX or Sarin.

Neither. You could store Mustard gas in shells, you can't store the chemicals used today. They will corrode the steel. We had mustard gas there in case the Japs used it first. We never used it in WWII.
