I disagree! First, don't I get to decide if I have reason to reply to a message addressed to me? Second, "dumbing down" is not the same as "playing stupid" and "dumbing down" is "intelligent thought". It is common practice to address a frame of reference that is appropriate to a particular audience. Grove would say very different things to a group of technology "visionaries." I admit that "dumb down" is not a very charitable characterization, but it gets the point across.

When I made my comments, I assumed that you have no relation to Grove or the "Harvard Management Update" and they would not be offensive to you. Your response calls my assumption into question. If they were offensive, I apologize. That was not my intention.
