I don't have access to Warburg research. I've seen excerpts posted in news releases where he says essentially that the Mar03 and Jun03 quarters will be down quarters for HB-LED shipments since those quarters are seasonally weak for cell handset sales. Although that point is true, it doesn't hurt Cree. Sales of back-lit color handsets is going from zero only a few quarters ago to a very high percentage, say >90%. As Chuck pointed about if asked if every handset would eventually become color (he replied most but not all), the difference in cost of the color display is not great. Guana also doesn't appreciate the expanding existing markets (traffic lights, a no-brainer) and new applications (architectural lighting).
