9:55 (Dow Jones) Stocks were fighting an uphill battle to begin with, but the
expectations component of the Michigan sentiment reading ain't gonna help
things. Too early to call Friday a legitimate "tech wreck" but it's getting
close. The worst four performers on the Dow? Microsoft, Intel, IBM, and H-P,
all off 3% or better. SOX is down 4% and NDX drops nearly 3%. Action confirms
the uneasy technical spot some of the major averages were in, and recent hopes
that key resistance levels were going to be taken out are not realistic now.
