An underlying factor in this sell-off today, imo, is the Mutual Funds had an approaching 100% mindset that IT spending would start to climb up from the pressure for companies to upgrade. This, in their mind, was the all-powerful sure thing to cause growth to shoot up.
And this week this money manager MF herd had this "wishful thinking" mindset shattered, but as they are ever resilient at finding a new reason to be optimistic; i don't know how long this "o my it is not what we expected" will last. Max.
