back when I was a teenager, I worked at a marina at Lake Tahoe. Max and his entourage came in and rented a boat from the marina (a Correct Craft "Martinique"). He ran the boat into the rocks at the mouth of Emerald Bay and sunk the boat. Of course, the Coast Guard had to fish them all out of the lake and they brought them back to the marina. And here was Max Baer standing in bikini underwear as if nothing happened. He had gained a little weight at the time and it wasn't a pretty sight. Nice grub
