So it's either a fake solution or nothing in your view?
I disagree with your premise that affirmative action is a fake solution. It is just a process toward a goal. A fake solution is one which perports to make a change but has no mechanism to do so. ( I also disagree with your reasoning of the excluded middle which implies that there are only two alternatives in my view).
