I'm questioning that the outcome will come within a week or two (which has what the market expects and has priced in accordingly). This won't be a nice clean tank battle in the desert, Erwin Rommel-style. An urban guerilla war in Baghdad could take months and result in a few thousand US casualties, even from low tech weaponry. They're a bit more advanced than the Taliban, methinks...

Nonetheless, I agree with you on the necessity of going in and getting it done, alone if need be. Iraq is a festering abscess that needs to be cleaned out. And I agree that our waffling is perceived by our enemies as weakness. Shrub needs to turn the Field Marshall (von Rumsfeld) loose and let him get jiggy wid it.
