>> Antiwar protests are happening all over the country and the world, but the mainstream media are hardly paying attention <<

i see plenty of coverage of the anti-war movement. it's just a shame that the media focuses the spotlight on communists, marxists, long-haired, sandal-footed earth-grainers, feminists, and hollywood. traditional conservatives against this war don't want to be associated with those freaks.

if you go back and study the political landscape prior to both world wars, you will find a huge clamor by the public to keep america out of the european wars. woodrow wilson was re-elected on a campaign slogan "he kept us out of war". how convenient that just one month after being inaugurated for his second term, wilson asked the congress to declare war.

prior to pearl harbor, 80-90% of america wanted to stay out of the second world war. that's why franklin double-crossing rosenfelt had to goad the japanese into attacking us at pearl harbor so he would have a back door into WWII.

the america that opposed entrance into both world wars was not a bunch of commie pinko marxists, not a bunch of long-haired freakish ultra-pacifist wimps from hollywood like today. in fact the leftward jewish communists around hollywood were the ones pushing for war. obviously they wanted america to destroy germany so their jewish-bolshevik brethren in russia would be preserved.

all the major wars that america was dragged into in the twentieth century were undertaken by liberals, not conservatives! wilson dragged us into WWI, franklin double-crossing rosenfelt dragged us into WWII, harry truman dragged us into korea, and jfk and lbj dragged us into vietnam.

now the jews have skillfully shifted the framework so that if you are anti-war, you must be a liberal, ultra-pacifist, pansy who is against the military and anti-american. what a crock.

keeping america out of foreign wars used to be the epitome of patriotism. charles lindbergh was the de facto leader of the america first committee, and he was no lily-pansy. as soon as fdr lied us into war, he jumped at the chance to join the war as a fighter pilot, even though he did more than anyone else to keep america out of war prior to pearl harbor.

you were saying how the "mainstream media" is hardly paying attention to the anti-war protests?

'Peace' rallies yes, pro-life rallies no
townhall.com

Washingtonians opened their top newspaper on Sunday, Jan. 19 to see what could have been predicted down to the letter. "Thousands Oppose a Rush to War," the headline announced, resting under a large color picture of a sea of protesters. Not one, not two, but three articles on the front page cast doubt on the Bush preparations for war on Iraq. Inside, the anti-Bush rally was awarded two entire pages of articles and pictures, and then, as if that weren't enough, the Post tacked on another half a page for the protests in San Francisco.
................................................................................................................................
Even putting two major Washington marches five days apart couldn't scare the liberal media into avoiding the trap of plugging away for the anti-Bush rally while ignoring the pro-life event. The March for Life crowd never makes the news the way anarchist and communist hooligans like the "anti-globalization" activists did in Seattle a few years ago. March for Life speakers are often soft-spoken and prayerful, talking about faith and family, and mourning for the millions lost. Maybe they should break windows and invite tear gas attacks. Is that what must be done to earn the interest of The Washington Post?
