Sounds prudent, but unfortunately it isn't easy to make money without committing<<<

polar bear, i try only to make committments when i see key reversals off oversold or overbought conditions, sometimes i try to anticipate them and am lucky enough to get in before the first crowd, sometimes i follow the trend to far and get my neck cut off, you know, it happens -g-

all that morose fundamental news you gave me in that post is already known,

all the indexes are in wide sideways consolidations starting in at the july lows, (or the june highs in the gold indexes),

some stuff is looking like where we were last april, when there was no consensus to fade, and the market broke down hard.

so we'll see, the gap down last week in nasdaq looks ugly, but they have to take the nyse down, which didn't do to bad.
