What is that bridge up I think in the UP that has the grates and is several hundred feet above the water? I remember an article on it and they have drivers on both ends of the bridge to drive vehicles across for the folks who can't. Said in a truck you can't hardly see the railing and you appear to be floating on air. I remember this little gal driver talking about driving some of the 18 wheelers across and the big burly driving climbing into the sleeper and covering their head so they couldn't see:)

Probably one you wouldn't like I bet.

Ish, Around here we don't have much choice in whether to drive over bridges or not. The 3 flat ones across the outer bay, are a snap, but the Sunshine Bridge could be scary for some. I still like to fly, and almost got a pilot's license many years ago, but that was during my drinking days, and I couldn't pass ground school. Right now, I wouldn't get on a commercial flight for no amount of money. We have even scrapped our plans for a cruise this year. If it's not terrorists, it's the Norwalk virus. Commercial buses are as bad as pig sties, and Amtrak is almost a suicide mission, so driving seems to be the only alternative. Next thing you know, we will be back to horses, and buggies. If we could get moved in time, that wouldn't seem so bad.
