And their great enemy, the Falklanders, LOL! If ever there was a just war it was Britain coming to the Falklands. I do not allow who is in office to sway what i support or don't support, and being that at that that i was firmly anti-Thatcher, my vigorous support of the Falklands war proves that, and i was dismayed at all the lefties non ability to support the Falklands War simply because they had an anti-Thatcher agenda. My politics are quicksilver, and issue oriented and not political party oriented. And, also, as i was deeply knowing of Grenada. Prime Minister Maurice Bishop was a genial good fellow that liked to ride the bus with everybody, i will never forget hearing him on a radio show saying 'i think there has been to much pushin and shovin on the buses. Let us try to be more polite" He was RUTHLESSLY assassinated in a Cuban orchestrated coup that was a coup by a bunch of Castroite wienies within a country that didn't give a damn about Castro and Marxism(just as i didn't--it is just another totalitarian manifestation<of which there are many manifestations>) I, who am of the left, more often than not, was ashamed of all the self-serving aging hippies using that as a show of American bullies on the loose. And ASHAMED that as with the Falklands, they didn't have a clue of the facts and were nothing "knee-jerking" puppets to their agenda--and had zero empathy for the falklanders or Grenadians.Max
