<< i have real problems with the amount of time cspan gave those thugs, >>

Why? I watched and enjoyed every moment, even though I yelled obscenities at the screen many times, especially when Conyers, Jackson and McKinney, Sharpton and the Muslim extremists were speaking.

Many people watching would not have wanted to be associated with any of the misfits at the rally. It could have been used as a political ad for Bush's war against terrorism.

dvdw,

Re: as a potential voter i have real problems with the amount of time cspan gave those thugs,

As a concerned American, I have even to express even more alarm about the censorship and news embargo that CNN and the Fox Network imposed on what is arguably the most important expression of citizen opinion since the Viet Nam era. C-SPAN is to be commended for its excellent, fair-minded and thorough coverage of a very important debate. The corporate media whores, OTOH, are a disgusting lot of criminal co-conspirators in Bush's insane imperial scheming. By denying their viewership of facts, the corporate whores are attempting to control the minds of their audience by keeping them ill-informed. They are guilty of a profound effort to destroy democracy for profit in a hellish Orwellian world.

That was CSPAN's decision, you don't vote for CSPAN, anyway. What's the problem

those peans do more damage taking the stage than anything else

Where's the damage?

The US is the most powerful force in the world, and cannot be defeated by anybody, once engaged. This is just a national discussion on whether to be engaged.
That's what people do in a democracy.

OTOH, in an dictatorship, protestors like that w ould be taken to secret concentration camps, and left there incommunicado. Or eliminated altogether.
