My! You are a gullible thing to put stock in such biased and poorly sourced sites! Such misinformation and intentional distortion is far worse than not having any information at all! Why don't you come see me? I have an option on the Andes Mountains, and I could use your help getting the necessary papers together. You can expect an extremely generous bonus...LOL!

"I worked in a medical center for several years, and never either saw or heard of a woman who had tried to abort herself with a stick or coat hanger or anything else like that. Nor read of anything in the medical literature.,"

You don't get out much, do you?! Sticks, hangers, and anything else that will do the job have been and are the tools of the trade.

"(But it does claim that abortions have been carried out for thousands of years. But the coat hanger was only invented during the last century. So much for THAT argument.)"

Argument? I said that abortions have been carried out since the huan race began. And coat hangars have been used since they were invented (and anything else that will fit through a vagina and reach the uterus). If this simple fact escapes you then you are incredibly naive.

"But I realize that you are in denial mode."

What is it that I denied?

Several references to hanger abortions here by the way including that poor 16 year old in Toronto. Of course in developing countries sticks and wires and such are used by thousands every day.
