March leaders estimating 200,000
Surely a disinterested objective source if there ever was one.

European media estimate for US, more than 100,000.
(but I noticed the same 10s of thousands, luckily it wasn't dozens)

Ilmarinen

Must the reason Bush has been talking so much about education and science,
billions and trillions, or was it millions??

Although resolving a dysfunctional media takes a couple of generations??

I watched it on C-Span. Definitely seemed, from viewing on television, like it was at least 150,000, or more. And I write this as someone who was present and part of 500,000 or more during the Vietnam protests.

I remember in the old days how the supposed liberal media, whenever portraying protest events, almost always featured the shaggiest, scraggliest long-haired sort they could find from the crowd, this even though there were many doctors, lawyers, clergy and family-types etc. as participants.
