Kennedy and O'Connor will come down

A guess now is that it will be a technical decision, based on the obvious "Point" system Michigan is using. Unless O'Conner has seen enough now to realize that any kind of "Quota" system is wrong, and is ready to go all the way. Could happen. The last case was in what, 78? If we get a technical decision, the next turnover of Judges should take it further, IMO. But this is all "Horserace Handicapping."

res- Frankly, at the moment, I'm just a bit with Rice on this one. You need to use race in admissions processes; it's just not clear how much a proportion of the process it should be. Now that's an argument, as I said in my previous post, that one can have.

Why should the daughter of Bill Cosby receive preferential treatment from the daughter of joe mechanic?

Diversity means so much more than race. Socioeconomic background should be a consideration, with race a byproduct of that diversity model. Blindly assuming someone's race paints a clear black and white picture is PC foolishness. (no pun intended)
