Just go to Gilroy before the garlic festival and you can get thousands of them off anyone's lawn. Yuck !!!!

Damn the French they brought this unnatural critter that has no predators here to get rid of them. They eat your plants your vegetables and other than beer and some other difficult to manage contraptions they require poisons to get rid of them

I must confess to being a snail eater myself. The idea is repulsive, of course; but the snails taste great. I very rarely eat them because, well, they simply cannot be that great for you (can they?) I love oysters also, clams and other filter feeders, but rarely eat them because I don't think they are very healthy. Its unfortunate because they are quite good.
