I am having a hard time getting where you're coming from.

Is it true or false that the organizer of today's marches is International Answer, a subsidiary of International Action, founded by Ramsey Clark? (Hint: true.)

Is it true or false that Salon, The Nation, and ZMag, all liberal/left publications, have reported that International Answer/International Action is "closely related to the Workers World Party" (The Nation), "largely a creation of the World Worker's Party" (ZMag)? (Hint: true.)

Lindy comments that commonly organizers of anti-war protests are Socialists. I was involved in the anti-war movement during the 1960's, and what he said is absolutely true of the times, and appears to be true now.

Nobody's arguing the absurd reductionism which you appear to be defending. Nobody's arguing that all people who are opposed to war are socialists.

Your reflexive defense against an argument which was not made makes me wonder what you are feeling defensive about.

Is being a Socialist so horrible? Is it unthinkable?

I am glad to see that the left and the anti-war movement are attempting to distance themselves from Ramsey Clark and the World Worker's Movement, who strike me as loons. If it were me, I'd avoid anything to do with them, and organize my own protests.
