Thanks for the crosslinked posts.

You say: i am moving to the position this particular war is NOT with reason, nor justifiable.

What I've found useful is to analyze this from the point of view of the CEO of Lockheed-Martin, Boeing, Raytheon and their water carriers in the White House. For them, this war is perfectly rational. It is a profit center and they know that if they foment further anger and hostility in the Muslim world that that, too, will be good for business. You see, the more turmoil, hatred, death and destruction that occurs, the more profitable the global economy is for the arms merchants.

It is all perfectly rational and justifiable from their point of view. As long as the arms merchants control the U.S. federal government, as they clearly do today, perpetual war will be the goal of our foreign policy.

Nothing could be more rational.

Or nuts.
