Yeah, I know. I don't think it's right for rich people to be sending their kids to schools others can't afford. My daughter's school is a charter school. I think that means it's somewhere between public and private. It recently had a teacher resign because he refused to socially promote a few failing students. The charter equivalent of a school board was trying to force him to do that because they were scared the parents would pull their entire family out of the charter school. Russian families have a lot of kids, so it means less money for the charter school if one pulls out. That's the kind of stuff that we have to purge from ALL schools. If a kid isn't cutting the mustard, he needs to be worked with until he does, not promoted up and out into oblivion.
