Isn't it interesting how you must be abstract.

Its simple. I don't feel like spending the time and money to research potentially many thousands of decedents of these rich people.

But the Rockefellers and Mellons do show mobility the other way. John D Rockefeller was the son of a traveling peddler. Andrew Mellon did come from a well to family, his dad was a banker but he was not anywhere near the top until he put himself there.
