Howdy all the affirmative action gang,

Can we please move this thread to another board please. I am biting my lip cause I would love to jump in but this is not the affirmative action thread.

Don't put me on the Ornish diet and then throw all this red meat in my face.

I would, frankly, prefer some mix of straight out affirmative action logic based on a mix of socio-economic standing and race/ethnicity, which the Michigan plan tries to do

Your comment indicates that you have unfortunately missed the point of the case. For hints, ask yourself these simple questions: "Why is Grutter a plaintiff in this case?" and "What factual findings were made by the District Court which invalidated the application procedure at the Law School?"
