You're a trip, Nadine. The "well established fact" that your particular "guilt-by-association" line du jour is indisputable? As opposed to the "well established fact" that Iraq was tied to WTC I, as baldly asserted in #reply-18453181 ?

As for connections between Saddam and 9/11, we'll only find out for sure after Saddam is overthrown. The jury's still out on Iraqi connections to the second WTC attack -- they've only been proved for the 1993 attack.

Quite a line you had when called on that one:

tb: um, what "connections" are you talking about?

Nadine: Just the various rumors that Iraqi intelligence provided assistance to Al Qaida and Ansar al Islam. Jeff Goldberg has mentioned them from time to time.

"Proved", indeed. Just for entertainment, I looked up "traitor" on news.google.com, where there was mostly a bunch of stuff about some Benedict Arnold TV show. But I was amused by this one:

In October 2000, when the Israeli Defense Force responded to rock-throwing protesters with lethal force, Feuerstein put a sign in his window that read: “Israel please stop killing Palestinians.” He said the Anti-Defamation League identified the sign on its Web site as “an act of anti-Semitic harassment.” Feuerstein contested the charge, and the accusation was deleted from the group’s Web site and news releases after several days of discussion. natcath.com

Just a minor case of mistaken identity, Fuerstein obviously was supposed to have been labeled "self-hating".
